Bachelor's programmes

Engineering & Technology (1)

The school was founded in 1957 to train highly qualified engineers, support continuing education, and conduct research and testing. The five-year curriculum aims at training engineers who possess human qualities and are well versed in the primary areas of science and engineering. Graduates from INSA are called "Insaliens".

While teaching in the sciences obviously constitutes the core of the five-year engineering programmes, the 'Humanities' have also played a central role since the creation of INSA Lyon in training engineers who are open to the world.

With its 22 laboratories, INSA Lyon applies a multi disciplinary scientific policy aimed at excellence in partnership with three other science oriented higher education establishments of the Lyon region (Ecole Centrale de Lyon, Ecole Normale Supérieure-Sciences, Université Claude Bernard-Lyon 1, Université Lumière Lyon 2, Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3, Université Jean Monnet Saint-Etienne).

Part of INSA Lyon's Company Relationships Directorate, the Student Career office provides support in creating your career both in France and abroad.
