Non-Dutch students must be adequately insured for medical expenses while staying in the Netherlands. This will be checked by the registration officials when you apply for a residence permit.

The Sports Centre De Bongerd is situated centrally to the main university campus and three of the main student houses, with a range of facilities including a swimming pool, and is the base for various sport courses and clubs.
Alternatively, you might want to do something out in nature, like learning to row in team boats, maybe? Wageningen comes complete with a river to the south of town waiting for you to pay a visit to the rowing clubhouse.
Several kinds of (student) sports clubs are active in and around the sports centre de Bongerd's facilities. Students who possess a WUR card whose sports rights have been activated can join these clubs for free or at a reduced rate.
Together with the ISIC Association and British Council IELTS, Studyportals offers you the chance to receive up to £10000 to expand your horizon and study abroad. We want to ultimately encourage you to study abroad in order to experience and explore new countries, cultures and languages.
I really like the system of periods, where every 2 months you have only 2 subjects to focus on. In my former university, we had the semester system, where you got 6-8 subjects for half a year and then you had to pass these exams at the same time period, within 2 weeks or so. The period system is much more intensive in terms of the subject but you are only focused on 2...
