University of the Pacific was established July 10, 1851, as California's first chartered institution of higher learning. It was founded by pioneering Methodist ministers and remains the only Methodist-related university in California.
The university offers more than 80 undergraduate areas of study in 11 schools and colleges, more than 30 graduate and professional programs and 12 accelerated programs.
The Institutional Research office serves the university by investigating the processes of higher education, providing analytical data management, meeting both internal and external information reporting needs, and supporting decision making.

The Sacramento campus and law library serves both the University community and the McGeorge School of Law. The campus library cooperates with the University Libraries system in supporting the education and research needs of University of the Pacific students and faculty by providing study and research space and partnering with Stockton-based reference librarians.

After my four years at my university I would say I had a satisfactory time in my education. I believe my university could have done better in the care they put into the Communications department and made a better track for graduation. Most of my professors did well in their overall approach to education and that they were there for my best interest 75% of the time....
Very much fine as a business school
Quality of education is excellent. But need more extra-academic activities. Also the campus is not too big and doesn't have a lot of green areas.
