Under the leadership of Dr. Mary Bernard, Associate Vice President, Research, the Office of Research provides a portfolio of services to facilitate and promote the research activities of Royal Roads University and to facilitate Aboriginal relations.
The Career Enhancement Services team at Royal Roads University offers a range of careers services.
They can help you with finding internships and work experience that suits you, career planning and advice, searching for jobs, writing successful resumes and covering letters, preparing for job interviews and professional networking.
You will also have access to the Symplicity online portal, where employers can look for students they want to employ, and where you can search for work opportunities that interest you.
We are located in the Grant building, University's main academic building, with class space for 399 students, science labs, cafeteria, study areas and faculty offices. Re-opened in 2003, the building underwent a CAD $8 million renovation that re-configured classrooms, upgraded technology and improved energy efficiency and access for people with disabilities.
We have four large, brightly lit, dedicated classrooms – three that are fitted with state-of-the-art interactive whiteboards. You will also have find wireless internet, computers and projectors in all classrooms, as well as learning resources and extra books to help with your studies.

The library has all the resources you could possibly need to succeed, with 48,000 printed books,over 100 online databases and 55,000 e-books.
Opened in 2011, the Learning and Innovation Centre is anaward-winning building. It is equipped with the latest learning technology, 33 breakout rooms, 7 classrooms, 5 computer labs and social spaces.
The stunning campus has 230 hectares of parks and woods, with hiking trails and walking paths that go all the way to the Pacific Ocean. You will feel inspired by fresh air, nature and wildlife with each step you take. The campus has some of the biggest and oldest trees in the region, a lagoon and a rare bird sanctuary for you to explore. You can have a relaxing walk by the beach, or even have a go at kayaking. Look south across the Strait of Juan de Fuca and you will see the Olympic Mountains, all the way across the border in the USA.
