Overview

Where better to study the creative arts than at a University with its own Arts and Innovation Centre, Pontio, set in a location which regularly attracts major film and TV production companies, such as HBO, Netflix, the BBC and S4C? We have strong connections with working film studios and access to broadcasting companies such as BBC Wales on our doorstep.

Our great industry connections provide opportunities to gain filmmaking work experience. Our students have visited and taken part in projects with Aria Film Studios in Llangefni. They have also benefited from our links with various independent production companies, including Rondo Media, Cwmni Da, Darlun and Slam Media.
