Overview
The Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Studies (BAIS) at Agora University is a 100% online degree completion program offered through the College of Professional Studies.
The program is designed for students seeking a flexible, interdisciplinary pathway to complete a bachelor’s degree online. It supports both students beginning their undergraduate pathway and transfer students with previous college-level coursework.
Students pursuing the BAIS degree may transfer up to 84 credit hours into Agora University toward completion of the BA degree, subject to Agora University’s transfer credit policy and academic review.
Students who still need to complete general education or elective requirements may also register for pre-approved courses offered through Agora’s partnership with Sophia.org. For the complete list of approved Sophia.org courses, students may visit Agora’s Sophia Learning pathway.
The program can be completed in 2–4 years, is delivered 100% online, and includes a 60-credit hour degree completion component at Agora University. Students must complete a combined minimum of 120 credits to be eligible to earn the bachelor’s degree.
The BAIS provides students with critical research skills and methods for conducting research, engaging with their communities, and bridging holistic education and theory with contemporary real-world practice.
The program gives students flexibility to design their academic pathway through one of the following concentrations:
- Middle Eastern Studies
- Education
- Computer Science
- Pre-Law
Each concentration includes four courses. Students must also select upper-division electives from approved Agora courses or through equivalent transfer courses, including eligible pre-approved Sophia.org coursework.

Academic requirements
Students must complete all required program credits and remain in satisfactory academic standing. A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is required for graduation. Students must pass all required courses to earn credit. A grade of F carries zero credit and does not count toward graduation. Graduation also requires clearance of academic and financial obligations.
