Overview
The Secondary Education (8 - 12) degree program offered by University of Northern British Columbia is based on a signature pedagogy focused on People, Place and Land. Teacher Candidates graduating from UNBC’s Bachelor of Education program will be empowered to develop their professional voices as educators and leaders. They will have experienced authentic engagement through continuous, in situ inquiry with Aboriginal/Indigenous Ways of Knowing and Doing, moving beyond simply learning about Aboriginal Education and Truth and Reconciliation, to questioning, exploring, focusing and refocusing how and why this work impacts teaching and learning.
Key Facts
