Description

J. Kent Sedgwick Memorial Bursary was established in 2012, by friends and family of J. Kent Sedgwick, who was widely regarded as one of the most eminent local historians. The scholarship's purpose is to assist an undergraduate student at UNBC who possesses an interest in geography or history.

Benefits

There is only one scholarship available, worth $500.

Eligibility

  •  Available to a full or part-time undergraduate student. First preference will be given to a student majoring in Georgraphy or History. Second preference will be given to a student enrolled in Environmental Planning.
  • Criteria: Demonstrated financial need and satisfactory academic standing.
  • Conditions: Applicants must provide information outlining their career goals.
