Overview
Individuals accepted to the Nursing - Traditional Track program at The University of Texas at San Antonio have completed prerequisite content and will gain the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for entry into the nursing profession during their 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th semesters of the four-year degree. Students will also have the opportunity to earn distinction in the areas of research and clinical service. This track prepares graduates for generalist nursing practice across a range of pre-licensure competencies.

- 3.0 prerequisite GPA
- 51 of the 60 hours of required prerequisite courses completed (including all math and science courses)
- $45 School of Nursing Application Fee (non-refundable)
- A completed NursingCAS application
- NursingCAS Application Fee
- Please be advised that TBSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing Traditional Track) applicants will be required to complete an embedded online interview as part of the application process within Nursing CAS (Centralized Application Service for Nursing Programs).
- The admissions application, NursingCAS fee, and official transcripts are due to NursingCAS by the application deadline.
- Applicants who have attended a foreign college are required to submit an official course-by-course foreign evaluation from an approved Foreign Credentialing Service.
