- Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse: With a BSN, you’ll qualify for leadership roles such as nurse manager or charge nurse, where you’ll oversee nursing staff and ensure the delivery of quality patient care.
- Public Health Nurse: Public health nurses work in community settings, As a result, they promote:
- Health and wellness.
- Provide vaccinations.
- And also addressing public health concerns.
- School Nurse: BSN nurses can work as school nurses, caring for students’ health needs, administering medications, and promoting a healthy school environment.
- Case Manager: Case managers coordinate patient care and resources, ensuring that patients receive the appropriate services and support. A BSN can be beneficial in this role, especially in health care that values higher education.
- Nurse Educator: Some BSN graduates choose to pursue careers in nursing education. In order to teach future nurses in academic or clinical settings, a BSN is typically a minimum requirement for nurse educator positions.
- Research Nurse: If you have an interest in research, you can work as a research nurse. This role contributes to health care research projects and clinical trials.
