The Aeronautics programme at Saint Louis University is the only Jesuit university with a flight program, making us a premier institution for flight education.

About the programme

This Jesuit heritage means students learn to make ethical decisions that contribute to their personal and professional goals and allow them to enrich the community in which students live and work.Students learn to fly in technically advanced light aircraft: the Diamond DA-20, Piper Archer PA28-181 with Garmin G1000nxi and Piper Seminole PA44. Advanced students further their studies of larger aircraft in a state-of-the-art Canadair Regional Jet-700 simulator. Students receive a holistic education that includes foundational and advanced courses in flight science and aviation management rounded out by the traditional core classes and elective courses.

Complete an online application.
If you are applying to enter SLU as a first-time, freshman student, we’ll also ask you to complete an essay.
There is no application fee to apply for undergraduate admission to SLU.
Send transcripts of all secondary work.
Submit proof of your English language proficiency.
These are scores from any standardized test you may have taken to prepare for college- TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, SAT, ACT or Duolingo score. All of our international applicants are required to demonstrate their English proficiency, and these tests can help us make that determination.
If you do not meet SLU’s direct entry requirements, we encourage you to apply to the Pathway or English Language programs offered by INTO Saint Louis University.
