If you know you want to be a wildlife specialist, Edinboro's program leads you to certification. But if you're open to other environmental careers, we provide plenty of other options as well. At Edinboro, you'll be held to high standards. Under the guidance of expert faculty, you will take at least one research-intensive course and complete a capstone experience to make certain you have practical hands-on experience. You will have the opportunity to present your research at local, regional or national meetings and get additional experience at summer field classes at the University of Pittsburgh's Pymatuning Laboratory of Ecology. Upon completion, you will be well prepared to work as a wildlife biologist or continue your education in graduate school.
