Overview
In your first year, you’ll focus on the creative processes involved in film, television and media production – developing practical skills in screenwriting, directing, producing, editing and production management. In your second and third years, you'll focus on your chosen pathway, allowing you to pursue your interests in much more detail – gaining highly specialist industry skills. The Film and Screen (Film Production) (Hons) degree is offered at Regent's University London.
You’ll choose one of three specialist pathways:
- BA (Hons) Film & Screen (Film Production)
- BA (Hons) Film & Screen (Screenwriting & Producing)
- BA (Hons) Film & Screen (TV & Digital Media)
The Film Production Pathway
This pathway will give you a broad understanding of global film industries as well as specialist skills in film-making and post-production.
You’ll examine all facets of film production, from inception to delivery, across narrative drama, documentary, digital advertising and campaign. Exploring different cinematic techniques and styles, you’ll learn how to construct persuasive, compelling stories and manage the production process from start to finish.
