Regent's Park was designed in 1811 by John Nash, the favoured architect of the Prince Regent, later George IV. Surrounded by grand residential terraces, the park spans 410 acres and includes a lake, canal and a number of exclusive villas.
Regent's University London is an independent, not-for-profit university offering British and American undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in a wide range of fields, including business and management, psychology, drama, film and media, arts and social sciences, fashion and design.
We will invest £30 million in research activity over the next five years, with the aim of achieving research-degree awarding powers by 2020.There have been plenty of developments in research organisation at Regent’s, with the introduction of research leaders in our Faculties of Business & Management and Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences.We have also applied to become an Affiliated Research Centre of the Open University, which would enable us to offer PhDs in five broad areas and open up opportunities for international collaborations with other Open University partners.

Our extensive and relevant collections are growing and changing all the time to meet the evolving needs of the University.
There are over 25 IT labs equipped with PCs and Apple Mac workstations with a range of resources and specialist software packages including AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites. All Regent’s students are invited to download their free personal copy of Microsoft Office 365 and anti-virus software to keep their devices up-to-date and secure.

Regent’s competitive sports teams include football, basketball and polo. There are also many opportunities to participate in other sports, such as table tennis, golf, and running and should you wish to pursue any of these sports competitively we will assist you in creating a club at university or joining a locally based set-up.
The Student Union supports a number of clubs and societies and welcomes the creation of new ones.We are proud to be located in a diverse city, drawing students from a variety of backgrounds and from countries all over the world. This ensures that, whatever your interests, you will find like-minded people as well as lots of new ideas to explore.Clubs and societies vary from year to year, and have included everything from photography, debating, music, psychology and law to film, finance and human rights.
