Career
We don't know much about the future, other than the technologies and systems we'll use won't be the same as they are today. The Mechatronic and Robotic Engineering (Hons) programme at University of Birmingham will help you explore what exactly the future might be, giving you the creative, professional and technical skills to lead change and innovation.
A placement in industry might also give you that extra push, giving you the opportunity to build skills and confidence in the workplace.
The School of Engineering Employability Network (SEEN), led by our Industrial Liaison Officer, will provide you with advice and skills training you'll need for career support, or for a potential placement.
Graduates are making an impact across a wide range of sectors such as Management Consultancy, Computer Software, Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, and Financial Services. They have gone on to work for leading employers such as BAE systems, London Stock Exchange, Heilind Asia Pacific, Apple and Lloyds Banking Group.
