Description

The University of Birmingham is pleased to announce the generous award of 2 full tuition fee scholarships for Malaysian students applying for entry to a postgraduate taught programme at the University starting September.

Benefits

The scholarship is for 2 full tuition fee scholarships for a full-time postgraduate masters programme starting September.

Eligibility

Please note that students already registered and studying on a programme at the University of Birmingham in the UK are not eligible for this award.

In order to be eligible, candidates must:

  • You should have an excellent academic background. Candidates should have or be expecting a 2.1 in a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Have received and accepted an offer for a full time postgraduate taught programme starting September at the University of Birmingham (Birmingham campus). The student must be entering the first year of a postgraduate taught programme.
  • Meet the academic conditions of their offer to the programme.
  • Be classed by the University as an overseas fee payer for tuition fee purposes and be able to pay the outstanding tuition fees not covered by the scholarship.
  • Start their studies at the University in September (the scholarship award may not be deferred).
  • If a scholarship recipient decides to defer their programme start date to September, they will no longer be eligible as the scholarship is only available for programmes starting in September.
  • Students seeking to study on a course solely delivered as a ‘distance learning’ programme are not eligible for this scholarship.
