There are over 7,000 possible combinations with this degree program! The Bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies requires students to study three distinct, but complementary disciplines. Students must take two unique IDS Core courses (Cornerstone and Capstone), and select two IDS Areas of Study and a minor. Out of all the programs we offer, this is the only program that participates with UCF Online. We have a limited list of online Areas of Study and Minors.
The Interdisciplinary Studies program of University of Central Florida is offered as a traditional campus-based program and as a UCF Online program, both offering students an opportunity to capitalize upon diverse personal interests and talents by completing an individualized program of study that involves coursework from departments across the university. The goal of the program is to provide students with a structured combination of study and academic experiences to appropriately meet their educational and long-term career goals.
