Overview

In the Bachelor of Fine Arts program, Acting students receive extensive training in acting, voice, movement, and auditioning, while Musical Theatre students receive extensive training in movement, dance, and vocal and singing technique, as well as acting. Theatre Design and Production students receive extensive design in conceptualization, stage management, costuming, lighting, makeup, scenic design, and rendering.

Academic Requirements

You need the following GPA score:

Required score: 3

Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).

Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).

General Requirements

  • Admission is competitive and based on successful evaluation of student's performance audition or production portfolio in the January prior to the student beginning Freshman classes in the Fall.
  • Cumulative G.P.A. of 3.00 or higher
  • The Application (must be 18 years or older for admittance)
  • The "Affidavit of Support" form, plus a bank statement which must show $26,400.00 for one academic year (8 months). 
  • Transcripts showing you have completed our level of high school.
  • The $100 non-refundable application fee in U.S. funds. Any collection or exchange fee is your responsibility.
  • An International TOEFL or IELTS score (not necessary if you are applying for English as a Second Language). See enclosed information sheet.
