Why Theatre at Southeast Missouri State University?
The programme is based at the Southeast River Campus, home to the Jeanine Larson Dobbins Conservatory of Theatre & Dance. This dedicated arts facility provides a professional environment where students can hone their craft using industry-standard equipment and multiple performance venues.
Students benefit from significant production opportunities, including four mainstage theatre productions and various second stage shows each year. The conservatory is recognised for its excellence, having been ranked as a top undergraduate destination for theatre studies within the United States.
Unique experiential learning opportunities include the Lanford Wilson New American Play Festival, where students collaborate with guest artists and playwrights.
