Overview
Choose a career-driven degree and do real business from day one at Hull University Business School.
During the Business Management with Human Resource Management (Hons) programme at University of Hull we focus on applying what you learn to real business situations – through projects, case studies and industry collaborations. In fact, you’ll work on projects with local companies right from your first year.
We’ve also got specialist HRM modules covering subjects like employee relations, learning and development, and the organisational context of HRM to give you a solid foundation for a career in management.
Our Business School offers a Career-ready Guarantee so that you know everything you study is grounded in real-world application, and your degree will be independently accredited by the AACSB and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), giving you the foundation to be a qualified business professional.
In fact, thanks to the quality of the accreditations our courses hold, you’ll have significant exemptions from essential exams that your competitors might need to take. This means a faster route to professional qualifications, because you graduate already part-qualified – and you could start on a higher salary.
Future prospects
A vast range of employment possibilities are open to our graduates, from exciting opportunities with global organisations – particularly in the field of human resources – to starting your own business.
As well as in HR, positions secured include working as advertising managers, events coordinators, financial administrators and retail managers.
You’ll be supported in sourcing relevant placements and employer projects and you’ll also get access to our global alumni community, which can help you identify potential mentors and develop your professional networks.
