Overview

GRADUATES ARE QUALIFIED FOR A VARIETY OF CAREERS.

  • Graduate in four years with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and the Birth to 5, Children with Disabilities license
  • Provide developmental services or service coordination for children birth to three or teach children in an early childhood special education class, Head Start or a child care program.
  • Continue for a fifth year to earn a Master of Science degree in Education and a PreK to 3rd grade license
  • Teach children in kindergarten, first, second, or third grade.

Loans:

  • William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan: Freshman are eligible to borrow up to $5500 in Direct Loan funds, with no more than $3500 in Subsidized funds
  • Federal Perkins Loan: $5,500 for each year of undergraduate study. The total amount you can borrow as an undergraduate is $27,500. $8000 for each year of graduate or professional study. The total amount you can borrow as a graduate/professional student is $60,000.
  • Federal Graduate PLUS Loan: Students can borrow up to the financial aid cost of attendance for the academic year.
