Overview

Students are also acquainted with historical research and writing and with historical thought through the sophomore-level seminar, The Historian's Craft, HIST 295 and the Senior Seminar, HIST 495.

Funding

Loans:

  • William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan: Freshman are eligible to borrow up to $5500 in Direct Loan funds, with no more than $3500 in Subsidized funds
  • Federal Perkins Loan: $5,500 for each year of undergraduate study. The total amount you can borrow as an undergraduate is $27,500. $8000 for each year of graduate or professional study. The total amount you can borrow as a graduate/professional student is $60,000.
  • Federal Graduate PLUS Loan: Students can borrow up to the financial aid cost of attendance for the academic year.
