- A level subjects: Minimum three A levels. Grades CC to include a Biological Science. Welsh Baccalaureate – Advanced Skills Challenge Certificate considered as a third subject.

- Access to Higher Education Diploma: 15 Level 3 credits at Distinction in Biological Science.
- International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma: Minimum two Grade 5 in Higher Level subjects to include a Biological Science.
