Cardiff claims to have more castles than any other city in the world. Cardiff Castle is the most iconic for the city, but other famous castles include Barry Castle, Caerphilly Castle, Cadleston Castle, Castell Coch (Red Castle), Castle Machen, Kenfig Castle, etc.
