Overview

A Physics degree from Millersville University of Pennsylvania allows for the greatest breadth of experience in all aspects of physics and mathematics. This program will equip students to solve complex problems, think clearly, work individually and in groups and to use the real world as a test of their skills, but not as a limit to their thoughts.

Students graduating with the B.S. in Physics are prepared to go on to graduate school in physics and engineering, or to enter the private sector in a technical area. Students have become doctors, technical writers, bioengineers and patent examiners.

Programme Structure

All physics degrees require two semesters of research into an area of physics (experimental or theoretical) while outstanding students may also pursue departmental honors during their senior year.
Participation in the departmental honors program is highly selective and offers students in an opportunity to strengthen their background in physics and to work closely with a faculty mentor on an extended research project.
