You will study a major and a minor choosing both from our broad choice across the humanities and social sciences, or selecting your minor from the University's shared pool.

At the conclusion of their Dual Degree with the University of Sydney programme at Sciences Po, candidates will earn Sciences Po's Bachelor degree as well as one of two possible degrees from the University of Sydney: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Economics. 
Like other Sciences Po students, new degree-holders will then be able to matriculate for the Masters programme of their choice in compliance with the relevant selection criteria.

General Requirements

This program is highly competitive. Admission to the program is determined jointly by the University of Sydney and Sciences Po, based on the following criteria:

  • a secondary education qualification such as the NSW Higher School Certificate (including national and international equivalents) with the minimum academic results required for the Bachelor of ArtsNote: only recent high school leavers are eligible, no transfer students permitted
  • Submission of a statement of motivation, CV and academic transcripts. 
  • Meet the higher of the English language requirements of the two partner institutions. For details, check the Sciences Po English language requirements.
