Overview
Students work closely with professors in and out of class and also have an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in their field by participating in the Valdosta State Co-op Program and completing internships. All students are invited to join the award-winning organization Students in Free Enterprise, and students who excel in the major may be inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, an honor society for top business students.
Key Facts
Management students have the unique opportunity to experience the business world overseas by accompanying faculty members on an annual trip to Germany. During the four-week trip, students learn about German culture and various aspects of business and take field trips to major German corporations.
Students in the Management program of Valdosta State University hone their critical thinking skills, develop an appreciation of diverse cultural perspectives, and learn how to address policy disputes and deal with social issues.
