Students examine the cognitive, affective, social, and motivational processes that give rise to both functional and dysfunctional means of operating in our complex world. They also learn how these processes develop across the lifespan and about the physiological processes that underlie them. Students learn from highly accomplished faculty who are leading scholars in their fields and are committed to undergraduate education.

At the core of our Psychology program at Lehigh University is a focus on psychology as a basic and applied science. Our program is designed to foster students’ critical thinking and scientific reasoning skills through exposure to cutting-edge psychological research, training in behavioral research methods and data analysis, and active research participation.
