Binghamton University Theatre major teaches students performance and technical skills and also encourages skills in leadership, teamwork, professionalism and self-direction. It also develops life skills such as problem solving, self-presentation and communication. 


Binghamton University offers a BA in Theatre, with three possible specializations: acting/directing, dance, or design/technical theatre. In addition, theatre majors can choose to study musical theater, performance theory, history or criticism.
