Students interested in international studies and politics have the option of participating in competitions including Model United Nations, Model Organization of American States and Undergraduate Moot Court. These competitions give students an opportunity to witness and practice what they learn in the classroom.

Political Science is one of the most popular majors for students interested in law school. The Political Science Department at Baylor University works with the Pre-Law track to emphasize the most important issues that lawyers and jurists confront in their careers.  This includes criminal justice, constitutional law, public policy and the courts, and international law. The Political Science Department also offers a minor in Criminal Justice.

  • Applicants from schools with external exams or leaving certificates should have their exams or certificates submitted to Baylor directly from the testing agency (IGCSE, GCE, WAEC, CBSE, IB, etc.).
  • Students applying from secondary schools outside of the U.S. are not required to submit standardized test scores for admission to Baylor;
