Studying at the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in Iași, was and still is a unique experience for me. First of all, because it was the first time I moved into another city, having all the responsibilities on my shoulders, but still being strong and coping with every challenge that I faced. Secondly, I had the opportunity to know amazing teachers that are not only teachers...
I would say that my student experience consisted too much in theory and less in practice. I would have preferred a little more focus on what a psychologist should or should not in the field rather than learning about theories from the 40’s of 50’s. My main issue is that we have not been taught how to interact with people and how to understand a mind, something I expected...
My university made a great effort to pass on the incredible knowledge of human biology to its students, which I clearly took advantage of, but unfortunately the level of most students did not allow me to develop, as well as its old-fashioned equipment.
