Overview
Undergraduate students from Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi may choose either to major or to minor in English. The subjects related to the study of the English culture, civilization, language and literature are taught in English both to English majors and minors. Some of the subjects in the English Language and Literature curriculum for the first year undergraduates majoring or minoring in English are: Culture, Civilization and Language/Text Practice, Language, Literature, Theory Practice and Language/Text. The same core courses in Language, Literature, Theory Practice and Language/Text are taught in the second and third year of undergraduate studies. In addition to these core courses, the third year undergraduate students are offered an optional course, and they are expected to choose either the language or the literature oriented course.

- Certificate attesting promotion of the Baccalaureate Exam for graduates of the current calendar year – certified copy;
- Birth certificate – certified copy;
- Passport - copy;
- Medical certificate (in an international language) to prove that the candidate does not suffer from infectious diseases or other illnesses that are incompatible with the future profession;
- Language certificate.
