About
History
Born in 1984, EPITA (from the French Ecole pour l'Informatique et les Techniques Avancées : School of Computer Science & Advanced Techniques) has been steadily gaining a reputation of excellence among multinational companies, which often recruit our students before the end of their studies.
Education
Born with the expansion of new technologies, EPITA has kept pace with their evolution. The courses, though very technical at the beginning, have opened up a great deal even as the technical complexity has increased. EPITA took the opposite approach of the one adopted by most other engineering schools: whereas the latter allowed computer science in to try to give it a place, EPITA brought in the other sciences to join information technology and yet without losing any of its main competences that constitute its strength and identity.

An international package is also offered, which includes:

- Assistance in finding an apartment near campus and signing the rental contract.

- Integration week: 3 nights off campus outside Paris. Accommodation, transportation, full board and activities are included in the price.

Housing services
Finding a suitable accommodation can be challenging, but at EPITA we make it as easy as possible for you to find the home that will suit you best during your stay in Paris.The international department at EPITA offers accommodation services to all international students enrolled in their bachelor or master programs before their arrival in France. Once the first installment of tuition fees is paid, the student will have access to the EPITA international students’ accommodation portal. Then he/she can choose and reserve their accommodation even before arriving in Paris.
ICT services
The Internet connection at the school runs at 1 Gbps (optical fiber), permitting 2,500 work stations to work simultaneously. All facilities are accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The whole campus is WI-FI connected, enabling students to use mobile devices anywhere. In addition, Voice over IP (VoIP) is possible throughout the network.
Medical services
- EU nationals must have a European Health Insurance card issued by the appropriate authorities of their originating country as well as a photocopy of this document (or the E128 form).
- Non-EU nationals will automatically have to join the French social security system upon registration.

In Paris and other major cities in France, EPITA strives to ensure a high quality educational experience that is particularly well-adapted to the demands of the digital world.
Since September 2017, the EPITA integrated preparatory cycle is offered in 4 new French cities in addition to Paris. Lyon, Rennes, Strasbourg and Toulouse have opened their doors to the school’s future engineers for an unforgettable academic adventure identical to that in Paris. All the courses offered are in French and these new regional campuses will allow more students to enjoy the EPITA experience, giving them the chance to realize their most ambitious dreams.

Accreditation
The French State organisation called CTI (Commission des Titres d’Ingenieurs) has renewed its trust in EPITA by extending its accreditation to deliver EPITA’s Computer Science Engineering Graduate Degree (recognized as a Master’s Degree) for a maximum possible duration, i.e. 3 years, for repositioning on the periodic accreditation of Paris region.This institutional recognition of the quality of training provided by EPITA, combined with ongoing support from thousands of companies that offer internships and jobs to our students each year, rewards the investment of teachers, researchers as well as the administrative staff of the school.
