Services

Student services

Student well-being services aim to provide adequate support and means for promoting and managing well-being. Student well-being services are available to students throughout the study period.

Counselling psychologists and well-being advisors offer support in challenges of personal life and studies through individual appointments, education and small group activities.

Housing services

  • There is a lot of competition in affordable housing, so it is important to start searching for a room many months prior to arrival. Look into different options and make sure that you have reserved accommodation before you arrive.
  • Metropolia does not have housing services to offer. Thus it is the student's responsibility to find an accommodation for the period of their studies.

Library services

Medical services

Student health care is provided by municipalities. Public health nurses on various Metropolia campuses provide individual health meetings, health inspections and brief health counselling. Other health care services are provided by public health care centres and private health clinics.

Student Life

Campus life

Metropolia’s four campuses create an open and attractive learning environment and network which boost the area and its people to develop and succeed.

Student Reviews

There are always pluses and minuses!
Anonymous rated 5 out of 5 stars

I enjoy my studies. I like the teaching and learning. For all the assignments there is always enough time to do. Whole amount of support I get from school is amazing. Only thing that bugs me, is the financial situation. I manage but I need more support with the financial part. I wish I could planned a little better beforehand so I wouldn't have that problem from the start....

Okay teachers. Great access to books and programs. A lot of annoying attendance requirements that would even affect the grades.

Teach teachers to teach

I enjoyed doing with hands. Some teachers should learn to teach. In worst case, a teacher used to spent entire 2 hours just reading a 70-page pdf word by word!
