Creative interior design and vintage aesthetics
I truly enjoyed the creative freedom in the Decoration and Advertising department. Blending Victorian aesthetics into my furniture layouts and my circus-themed graduation project was a highlight. While the workload is intense, the hands-on experience with interior rendering is excellent. This program perfectly prepared me for my 2026 graduation
I completed the 4-year Biology Education program
I spent 4 years in the Biology Education program and it was a mix of intense science and real teaching prep. First 2 years were heavy on pure biology — Cell Biology, Genetics, Ecology, Physiology — with labs almost every week. We handled microscopes, did plant/animal dissections, and went on field trips to forests and wetlands to collect specimens. Years 3 and 4 shifted toward education: Curriculum Studies, Educational Psychology, Teaching Methods, plus 6 months of Teaching Practice in secondary schools. That TP was the real test — planning lessons, managing a class of 40 students, improvising when the lab had no chemicals.
Alhamdulillah
I really liked the depth and breadth of the material – it felt like a genuine university-level exploration rather than a superficial overview. The blend of rigorous theory, historical context, and cutting-edge developments kept things intellectually stimulating without ever feeling dry. I especially appreciated how the course encouraged connecting ideas across disciplines (philosophy, cognitive science, computer science, neuroscience) and how it challenged me to question my own assumptions about intelligence and consciousness. The readings were excellent, the lectures were clear and engaging, and the assignments actually pushed me to think creatively rather than just regurgitate information. What could be improved: pacing in the middle section felt a bit rushed – some of the more technical topics (like transformer architectures and scaling laws) could have used an extra week or more structured scaffolding for people without a strong ML background. A few of the discussion prompts were a bit repetitive, and I would have loved more interactive elements (live debates, guest speakers, or small-group breakout sessions). The final project guidelines were solid, but more intermediate milestones or feedback checkpoints would have helped manage the scope better. Overall summary of my study experience: It was one of the most rewarding and mind-expanding learning experiences I’ve had. Challenging but fair, broad yet deep, and genuinely transformative in how I think about intelligence (both artificial and natural). I came away with not just more knowledge, but a sharper framework for reasoning about where AI is heading and what it means. Highly recommend it to anyone seriously curious about the field – it’s demanding, but absolutely worth the effort.
