The University of Chester has been making history since 1839, when it was founded by such pioneers as the great 19th-century prime ministers, William Gladstone and the Earl of Derby, and a former Archbishop of Canterbury.
Education qualifications remain significant and are now a fraction of the 420 course combinations on offer. In the 20th Century, the institution steadily expanded its student numbers and the variety and nature of its courses, which range from Animation to Zoo Management.
As well as undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, a new range of foundation degrees and apprenticeship degrees combines conventional university study with learning at work.
The University of Chester is committed to the continued development of excellence in research and innovation. The research strengths range across the arts and humanities, business, leadership and management, education, health and social care, and the natural and social sciences.

An accredited course is one which has been approved by a professional body. Accredited courses provide students with a guarantee of quality and can count towards professional qualifications or registration with a professional body. This not only benefits a student’s career but can also be a legal requirement in some professions.
Very enjoyable, engaging, great content that helped me grow and develop academically and also personally.
Everything is working alright. However, I have always been interested in practicing nursing as an additional job. In my home country Ghana, I was working as a High School Mathematics Teacher. In this new word, I would like to work in the health sector. I would like to contribute my quota, in the battle against the deadly pandemic.
I have had a good experience here. Online teaching during the covid crisis has been poor but the overall university experience has still been quite good
