Student services

Campus Activities and Student Engagement (CASE) offers opportunities for University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point students to develop as leaders, volunteers and employees. We help students find employment opportunities on and off campus.

The office also coordinates volunteer opportunities throughout the greater community and coordinates service opportunities across the nation and abroad. CASE is part of the Division of Student Affairs and the University Centers and is dedicated to providing opportunities at UW-Stevens Point that extend beyond the classroom.

Housing services

Life in your residence hall will be more than just having a place for sleeping and storing books. Besides helping you adjust to college life, your hall will offer countless social, educational and service opportunities all year long. Each of our 13 residence halls is designed as a small living community for approximately 250 students, and we work hard to make sure your hall will be an inviting, comfortable and safe place to live and learn.

Library services

The Library is a member of the University College. The Library maintains both physical and electronic collections offering access to millions of information resources. Our users can find assitance on the first floor at the Circulation or Reference desk. Physical items can be checked out at the Circulation Desk with a University ID or Guest Card.

ICT services

On and off campus access to library resources online catalog, databases, ejournals is provided through an EZproxy server. The campus provides over 700 computers in 20 public labs and 13 residence hall labs for student use.

Medical services

Student Health Service provides student-centered healthcare that empowers and promotes wellness for all UWSP students. Services are now available for acute care and via telehealth. Discover our Telehealth options and services, including information on how to speak with a nurse, refill medications, obtain lab work, and how to be evaluated for acute care needs.

UW-Stevens Point offers three welcoming campuses, Stevens Point, Marshfield and Wausau, in the heart of Wisconsin. UW-Stevens Point students discover inspiring professors, research and study abroad opportunities and dynamic programs that prepare them for a fulfilling career. UW-Stevens Point equips its students to live sustainably, think critically and realize long-term success in a diverse world.

Sports facilities

Berg Gymnasium provides an intimate home-court environment with 1,365 seats.The facility hosted the NCAA Division III women’s basketball sectional tournament in 2002 and 2011 and frequently hosts community and campus events. UW-Stevens Point is the only Division III school which boasts two separate facilities for its men’s and women’s basketball teams. The gym is named for George Berg, who coached football and men’s basketball in the 1940’s.

UW-Stevens Point is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and was reaffirmed for accreditation in June of 2019.
