Bachelor's programmes



Budapest College of Communication was established in 2000, with state accreditation. It has provided higher educational, adult educational and advanced vocational training courses of a high international and European Union standard in the field of applied communication and business sciences since 2001.


Metropolitan offers a complex educational program at two vocational grammar schools, various higher-level vocational trainings, master degree programs and post-graduate specialist training programs built on the bachelor programs in the field of communication, business, tourism and arts. Metropolitan is characterized by an open and pleasant atmosphere, a strong focus on performance and competition supported by cutting-edge infrastructure on solid foundations.

Student services

  • Electronic student services, full-time in-person, online and telephone customer service
  • Free of charge reference libraries, electronically accessible course materials, textbooks and lecture notes
  • The canteen with seating for 350 people serves both hot and cold food, and there are vending machines for drinks and snacks.

Housing services

We offer housing in 11 hostels through our partner Sin Budapest. In Hódmez?vásárhely, we arrange accommodation in the Szote Hostel.

Library services

The University provides an on-site school bookshop and free reference library.

ICT services

Student work and learning at the University is facilitated by unrestricted access to a WiFi network covering the complete area of the campus, and a number of computer work stations scattered around the buildings.

Campus life

The central educational facility of the University, with its modern circular building which opened in 2006, is a unique complex compared with the premises of Hungarian higher education institutions.The two buildings of the central campus are located in a green environment. Lectures are held in the two vast lecture theaters of the circular building, each with a capacity of 360 persons, and the two smaller lecture halls of the main building. In addition, our facilities include 21 small and medium-sized seminar rooms with state-of-the-art educational technology and we also boast 9 rooms equipped for IT courses.

The university is like a normal European university. The teachers are great and always ready to help you succeed not just in the classroom but outside as well with many making sure that you are inteoduced to influential people in the city. I think that was the best part. The city is affordable and very exciting, getting by with not being able to speak Hungarian is...
