Our collections contain more than 3.5 million print books, nearly 500,000 e-books, and 143,000 serials. We also provide access to hundreds of databases and state-of-the-art information technology. Our distinctive subject collections include the Eaton Collection of Science Fiction & Fantasy, the Water Resources Collections & Archives, the Rupert Costo Library of the American Indian, etc.
As a student, you are automatically enrolled in UCR's Student Health Insurance Program (SHIP) and exempt from purchasing a plan on the Covered CA website or your home state exchange. SHIP meets the requirements of the Affordable Care Act, gives you nationwide coverage, and offers the big advantage of convenient, on-campus care.

I loved the variety of subjects available to study. I especially enjoyed elective upper-division courses where enrollment was limited to about 30 students, making discussion of the course material easier and more personalized.
