Please note that A-level General Studies, Critical Thinking, Thinking Skills and Global Perspectives are not accepted by King's as one of your A-levels. However, if offered the grade achieved may be taken into account when considering whether or not to accept a candidate who has just fallen short of the conditions of their offer.

  • For the Music major, a grade A at A-level Music or Grade 8 Music Theory (or equivalent). In addition, candidates with these qualifications wishing to pursue Music performance as a formal part of their studies and to receive individual tuition at the Royal Academy of Music will need to hold Grade 8 on their main instrument/voice by the end of their first year of study.
