Overview

During the Multimedia Journalism (Foundation Year) (Hons) degree at Manchester Metropolitan University, you'll be introduced to your specialist subject as well as being given a broad introduction to the humanities and social sciences, with training to help you thrive in higher education.

Possible roles include print journalism, digital publishing and editing, broadcasting, researching, media development, freelance writing, specialist journalism, working for news agencies, public relations departments and public sector press departments. Previous graduates from our Information and Communications courses have been employed by new media companies not only across the North West, but also nationally.
