Overview
Adult nursing is a career that asks a lot of you - and gives a lot back. You'll be there for people during some of the hardest moments of their lives, and the work matters.
Your time is split evenly between the university and clinical settings. On campus, you'll learn in small groups using advanced mannequins and simulated wards, working through real patient cases with tutors who've done the job themselves. On placement, you'll put that learning into practice - in hospitals, in the community, and alongside independent and voluntary organisations through our partnerships.
Careers
Adult nursing encompasses a broad range of both general and speciality settings and roles. As a result, a career in adult nursing offers many fulfilling opportunities to grow and progress within a recognised career structure as an adult nurse.
The Nursing (Adult) (Hons) programme offered by University of East London is created in collaboration with employers and industry to ensure they accurately reflect the real-life practices of your future career and provide you with the essential skills needed.
