This course, selected and funded by the Office for Students (OfS), will put you at the heart of the UK's growing expertise in autonomous systems and uncrewed technologies
Here you'll go further than traditional mechanical engineering, focusing on the 'brains' of modern machines: algorithm design, AI systems, and computer design
Our Autonomous Discovery Hub, developed with government and industry support, gives you the space to work with simulation tools, sensors, and autonomous hardware used in real engineering systems
An optional placement year will open doors to leading defence contractors, robotics companies, and aerospace organisations
You'll graduate ready for roles in advanced engineering, whether that's defence, autonomous systems, smart-manufacturing or innovative research.
