Cybersecurity is a growing concern for businesses, governments and populations around the world. Join the new Cyber Science degree programme — the first of its kind in Canada — and be prepared to navigate the complex world of cyber threats and solutions.

You’ll combine technology with business, law, ethics, policy and human behaviour, and become an expert who understands the full picture, not just the technical side. In this Cyber Science (Hons) programme from Toronto Metropolitan University , you’ll develop knowledge and skills to write secure code, analyze system vulnerabilities, apply cryptography, and design secure systems, and learn how to bridge the gap between technology, society and business.

You’ll gain valuable experience before graduation through optional paid co-op opportunities, labs, immersive workshops, competitions and projects. You'll work with faculty experts, industry, and community partners and the Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst at TMU, where you can train on their cyber range to practice defending against simulated attacks. With your understanding of both the technical aspects of cybersecurity and your ability to communicate how technology can be influenced, you’ll be well prepared to stand out in the job market.
