On Early Years (Hons) programme at University of Greenwich you will begin your studies focussing on the importance of the child, their families and holistic development. With this solid foundation you will then explore the curriculum in detail with the opportunity of planning, implementing and evaluating activities and experiences for young children.

Alongside developing your academic skills, you will be challenged to explore some of the more topical issues dominating the sector and through this we hope you become confident in leading and advocating for the sector and the rights and participation of young children.

Careers

The graduates pursue careers in primary and early years teaching (after completing a one-year PGCE qualification), and have opportunities in early years settings including nurseries, children's centres, schools, health and social care and community settings.

104 UCAS Tariff points. We accept A Levels, T Levels, BTECs, Access to HE and all other qualifications with UCAS Tariff points.

In addition, you will need: GCSE Mathematics at grade 4/C and GCSE English Language/Literature at grade 4/C. Equivalent qualifications may be considered.

Applicants that meet specific eligibility criteria will be made a contextual offer with a reduced tariff of up to 16 UCAS Tariff points. Other entry requirements such as GCSEs, Interview, etc., will still need to be met.
