Description
The scholarship rewards students who prepare for university by developing independent learning and study skills through the University of Greenwich’s outreach programme.
Benefits
£2,000, paid in three instalments during the student’s first year.
Eligibility
Students will need to meet the following criteria to be eligible for the GREat Skills Scholarship:
- Students will need to be studying at one of our targeted schools and colleges.
- Students need to be studying level 3 qualifications (A level, BTEC Level 3, T Levels, Access, IB or any other Level 3 qualifications) which hold UCAS points and will be receiving their final results.
- Students need to have received an offer to study a full-time undergraduate course (including extended programmes) at our Greenwich, Avery Hill or Medway Campus (excluding the Medway School of Pharmacy).
- Students will be a new full-time undergraduate, paying the maximum home tuition fee of £9,790.

No separate application is required. The scholarship is awarded automatically according to the eligibility criteria.
If the number of eligible students exceeds the available scholarships, priority is given to students from backgrounds underrepresented in higher education. If there are still more eligible students than available awards, students may be asked to submit an application.
