Visiting guest writers help inspire creativity which in the past have included hosts readings and discussion from award-winning novelists and poets. Catrin Kean, poet Bhanu Kapil, and short fiction author Wendy Erskine are just some of the writers to pay us a visit at Bangor University.

Offers are tariff based, 104 - 128 tariff points from a Level 3 qualification e.g.:
- A Levels: including grade B Music (in lieu of Music A-level we will also consider other A-level subjects in conjunction with other level 3 qualifications in Music.
- BTEC National Extended Diploma in Music: DMM - DDM
- Cambridge Technical Extended Diploma: DMM - DDM
- City & Guilds Advanced Technical Extended Diploma (1080): considered on a case-by-case basis
- International Baccalaureate Diploma: including grade H5 in Music
- Access: pass required
- Welsh Baccalaureate: They will accept this qualification in conjunction with other level 3 qualifications
- T Levels: T Levels in a relevant subject considered on a case-by-case basis
- Extended Project Qualification: Points can include a relevant Extended Project (EPQ) but must include a minimum 2 full A-levels, or equivalent.
