The undergraduate program in Archaeology from American University of Beirut provides students with a working knowledge and critical understanding of the methodological and theoretical principles of archaeological investigation and fieldwork.

Its curriculum introduces students to the wealth and diversity of Mediterranean and Near Eastern archaeology. In addition to developing essential knowledge about the material and cultural roots of past societies, the program enhances student awareness about the value and relevance of Lebanon’s and the region’s archaeological heritage. Phoenicia and the Phoenicians
The Phoenician Expansion in the Mediterranean
