The broad and fascinating curriculum of this Psychology with Clinical and Health Psychology (Hons) programme offered at the Bangor University covers areas such as behavioural problems in children, mental illness in adults, and psychological problems in old age. It examines the psychological factors that lead some individuals to behave in health-damaging ways and what happens when they become ill or disabled.

Global demand for mental and behavioural health support is steadily increasing and, as a graduate of this BPS accredited psychology degree, you have the option to pursue any of the main psychological professions.

As a health psychologist, you could be tackling some of the world’s biggest healthcare challenges, including addiction, diabetes, dementia, heart disease, high blood pressure and obesity. If you choose to become a clinical psychologist, you could be helping people of all ages overcome anything from anxiety and depression to family issues, psychosis and personality disorders.
