Overview

The Health and Social Care (Hons) Degree offered at the Bangor University focuses on the factors that underpin and directly impact frontline public health services, including health education, health promotion and prevention of diseases, policy planning, implementation and evaluation, how to support vulnerable service users, and change management. It aims to develop the knowledge and skills required to improve the health and wellbeing of culturally diverse individuals and populations.

Health and Social Care is a very diverse field with many different and rewarding career options working for the NHS, social care organisations and other public, private and voluntary sector agencies..

This BA (Hons) Health and Social Care degree prepares you to make a positive impact on the way services are delivered, from social housing and health promotion to family or refugee support, community mental health or residential care.
